    Thanks, I will start today and post those days I have recorded my steps: I am used to doing one hour of exercise 6 days a week but pretty sedentary otherwise. Recently I have been working 2 part-time jobs that are active and leave me with less time for formal exercise. Each night my body is sore. The pedometer doesn't get the hours of standing but that is OK. I just want to track what my increased activity level is. The last day of November I worked 11 hours and my steps were 17,000 which is alot for me. If I take a walk it will be included in my steps but Aquafit is my other form of exercise besides walks with running intervals so no steps there. When I up my stamina maybe I can increase my goal average to 10,000.
    My goal for December is a minimum of 5,000 steps a day and an average of 9,000 steps.

    I've managed over 10000 steps since 10/25 when I got my fitbit :) I'll start my logging tomorrow!

    I'm starting from 12/5 since I had to replace the battery on my pedometer. Also, I am changing my weekly posts to Sunday now.

    Jesusislove - being without a step counter is just unbearable for me. I usually have two just in case something happens to one of them. Which reminds me I lost one several weeks ago and am using my backup. I do need to replace the one I lost.

    Me too! I've been using a Fitbit since June but it's already been replaced once - I'm hanging on to my old Omron pedometer so I can keep going if it goes faulty again!

    Mind if I join. I put my step counter on as soon as I get out of bed. I check it after dinner. If I have not hit 10k I go for a walk after dinner till I pass the 10k mark.

    I tend not to write the numbers down so this will be new for me!!

    I carry my pedometer all day every day.

    I have walked outside every day for more than a year. The coldest temperature here when I walked last winter was 28 degrees F. I have lots of warm clothes. the hardest days were the ones where the streets were glare ice and I had to walk exclusively in the meadow behind the house in about a foot of snow......I was warm enough but it was boring to walk for two hours even with good music to listen to.

    I failed this weekend. I planned to both do aerobics on Saturday and Sunday as well as do an extra walk/run each day. Well I only did the aerobics and not the daily walk/runs, thus why on 12/9 I didn't meet my goal. I will try to do the extra walk/runs this coming weekend. Also, I've determined that my pedomoter is very off, so I'm going to get a new one.
