Hey man,
It all comes down to a good diet plan. I followed the P90X diet plan for awhile and now I am doing the Body Beast body building program to gain as well. The program changes your macro up every month so right now I am eat 40% protein, 30% carbs and 30% fats. Over all you really just want to eat clean and eat often.
Check out my food diary and those of others to get ideas.

I eat alot of high calorie nutrient dense foods and fruits alot of protein and alot of carbs and fats and 3 meals perday once and a while I ate a snack an hour before bed but now just 3 meals a day from foods and some beverages that have calories in them and water even thogh that doesnt have calories in it0
