Depression and Weight

Now I know that being overweight can easily make someone feel down and out, but there are times that I absolutely do not want to leave my house. I feel worse because I have a 4 yr old and I feel like I'm letting her down. I'm doing my best to keep up with MFP but there are times I find myself not inputing certain meals because I'm embarassed. I am trying to do better and hopefully one day meet my goal.

There is a difference between feeling down and out and clinically depressed. Check with your doctor because it obviously bothers you. I struggle with this issue as well. Add me if you want.0

I've struggled with depression since I was a little girl. I know how you feel about not wanting to leave the house. If you are open to it, I would suggest seeing a counselor and maybe even trying an anti-depressant. Sometimes you just need a little help to get out of a rut.
Don't be embarrased... we all struggle. If you find yourself not logging because you don't want others to see, consider making your diary private.
Feel free to add me as a friend if you want. I try to be very supportive of my friends :flowerforyou:0
