    At two of the stores that I frequent, the would-be-Hostess shelves are still empty. One store, though, has filled the former Hostess shelves with Entenmann's.

    Totally agree! Although CRUMBS cupcakes make on that tastes just like it! Although it has like a gazillion calories....:frown:

    Even though they can't spell, Tastycake still has my :heart: and loyalty.

    ETA: fortunately, I live in SoCal now and they are not readily available. So no Tastycakes for me.

    I have such fond memories of being a fat jr. higher, eating powder hostess mini donuts, and drinking copious amounts of Surge until all hours of the night during summer break. Ahhhh. Those were simpler times.

    Probably haven't had hostess in over 4 years.. Favorite was those pie's.. They probably would still be profitable if they decided to make healthier alternatives.. some reason parents aren't packing twinkies and cupcakes in kids lunches anymore.. Maybe its cause they are all overweight and play video games all day.
