Slim in 6... yes or no?

I have seen so many infomercials and facebook statuses that have to do with the new beachbody craze and I was curious what type of results people have been seeing. I really would like to try the Slim in 6 program but want to make sure I am motivated enough to stick to it but also that it truly does work. Also looking for buddies to help push me in my weight loss adventure!

I have it, and it does work. The only problem is that it gets boring real fast.0

I love it. I just started it 2 weeks ago. I lost 5 pound in two weeks with Slim in 6, Hip Hop Abs and Jillian Micheal's Boost Metabolism Fat Burning workout tapes. And of a course a reasonable diet.0

Slim In 6 was my first Beachbody fitness program....IT WORKS!! Just follow the program and eat as clean as possible. I lost 10 pounds and 5% body fat in 6 weeks. I'm also a Beachbody coach, so if you decide to order it from me, I would be your fitness coach for free! I love all of the Beachbody fitness programs that I've done so far. They are excellent. Yes, the music in Slim In 6 is a little boring, but you can always put on your own tunes. They just revamped the program so I'm hoping they updated the music, but the workout itself if excellent!0 -
WOW I think I am the only one that did not like it. I got it and thought it was outdated. Everything about it, the moves, the music, and the outfits (I know who cares about the outfits). I didn't find it very challenging at all. I sent it back cause I would rather have my money back and buy DVD's that are recent and a lot cheaper. As for the "food guide" that came with it was pathetic. It didn't really even guide me, no recipes. Anyways if you could find someone who has it, maybe you could just try it out cause it is way over priced.
I am personally a huge Jillian Micheals fan. Have 30 Day Shred, No more trouble zones, burn fat boost metabolism, and her recent Yoga meltdown. She will kick your butt and got all the DVD's for $9 each. I alternate them with different cardio each day and feel a better workout from those than anything else I have tried.0 -
I have recently ordered slim in 6 but I havent started it yet. For everyone who got great results, did you follow the meal plan or did you follow along with MFP goals? I was just curious.0

I did not follow the meal plan. I did watch what I eat but I wasn't using MFP yet then either.0

I have tried to do SI6 several times and havent gotten past week 3. I have been doing it again for 1 1/2 weeks and I am already seeing results!
For the ladies that are doing SI6 now I have a group called slim in 6 workout buddies wanted. We have a group that post about our workouts and motivate each other to keep going since none of us has actually lasted the whole six weeks.
It is boring but works!0 -
Beachbody has recently just revamped Slim In 6! It has new moves and new music, plus you can get Shakeology along with it to help get ALL your vitamins and minerals, AND a full serving of fruits and veggies in one glass!! You should totally do Slim In 6!
I didn't follow the meal plan and I didn't do MFP either. I kept a food journal that I carried around with me all day. But I had awesome results!
I'm also a Beachbody Coach, so if you have any questions or want to order it, let me know!! )0 -

I think if you follow your MFP goals, you should be fine. If you're a Beachbody club member, you can figure out exactly how many calories your body needs while doing Slim In 6 and compare it to what MFP says you need, then tweak it if you need to. OR, you could give me your information (height, weight, age) and I can figure it up for you and let you know.
Did you get the new version of Slim In 6?0 -
Brittney,
I have been looking at your food diary and I gotta say....girl, you need to eat! You aren't getting nearly enough calories, and the calories you are eating aren't healthy ones. I don't want to discourage you or make you feel bad, I want to help you. It is very important that you do not skip meals. If you continue eating 700- 900 calories a day your body will go into starvation mode and begin to store fat. You can change your meal names from the default and just make then meal 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. You should try to eat 5-6 small meals per day in order to keep your metabolism going. FOOD IS FUEL for your body! If you don't eat at least every 2.5 to 3 hours your body thinks you are starving it and will begin to store fat as well. Get some healthy snacks, non-processed foods, drink your water, and log all your food. Slim In 6 will help get you on the right track to getting healthy and fit....not "skinny-fat". I hope this information helps! I really want to see you reach your goals, I know you can do it!0 -
Hello! Can anyone tell me if you need to do the 6 day express diet plan? or if you just follow the exercise plan alone (with a sensible diet of course) you'll still get results in 6 weeks? Any help appreciated! Thanks0
