Juicer

I don't like to eat fruit so I was thinking of getting a juicer. Does any body have/use one? are they worth the money? I am assuming that it is just as good as eating fruit.

  • While juicing does have many benefits, it does not replace eating fruit. With jucing, all you are getting is the concentrated vitamins and minerals. The fiber, the hearty meat of the fruit is lost.
    Try making smoothies instead! Use fruit, berries, tasteless protein powder and water-or a milk of your choice!!

    ^^ yep. You get a quick buzz to your cells, basically, with all of the nutrients, etc from the raw juice. It is very healthy, depending on what combos you do...but nothing replaces the fiber of the fruit. Try just adding morning raw juices to a light but protein rich breakfast and that should help out, if you dont want to eat fruit.

    all that said, getting a juicer is totally worth it though. Ive had mine a while and it is as good as new, that sucker can grind anything and on mornings when Im feeling super blah or have a slight food/alcohol hangover, one good cup or two of raw juice gets me going like an IV of caffeine.

    I have a juicer, I thought it would be a great way to use up all my fruits and veggies at the end of the week...it mostly just sits there. Though, I do get an energy boost the times I do drink it. It wastes A Lot for a very small amount of juice.
