Running in hot weather...help!

I really want to do the C25K, I should be on week 2 but it's just so darn hot here in Melbourne! What is the general consensus on running in hot weather? For me anything over 25 degrees Celsius is hot, I haven't completely acclimatized to the weather here. Running at night is OK but not entirely safe, there are some questionable people around and I am a slow runner. A couple of months ago a female jogger was murdered in our area!
What should I do? Do I only run on the cooler days or do I brave up and run late at night? I really want to complete the C25K by the end of January but at this rate it will take me longer than that. Should I extend the deadline for finishing C25K?
I should mention early morning runs aren't really an option either, I can't sleep until around 10.30pm and getting up any earlier than 6am (I also do 30DS in the morning and I'm out the door by 7.30am) messes with me.

I live in Thailand so our weather is probably similar. I'm on week 5 of C25K right now. I found that I have to wake up and be running by about 6am to try to beat the heat. Any later in the day and I would probably faint after the first 5 minutes. I can't run at night either because the street dogs are extra vicious after dark. Just try to get motivated, wake up early, and get it done.

Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. That would be my advice. Good cap, singlets and shorts would be what I'd wear.
I have not had that much experience running in hot weather but while I was in vacation in Malaysia I really struggled to get my runs in the first few days but after about a week, my body has since learnt to acclimatise to the humidity. Our summers here can get quite hot (NZ) and I find that even though I struggle to race, I still manage to finish up my training runs. I just make sure I hydrate well enough before I go, maybe during if there is water handy and definitely after the run!

THIS and why don't you run in the morning and then do 30DS at night? I definitely wouldn't recommend running once it's dark - but it cools off a bit by the evenings in Melbs & it's not dark until about 9.0 -
Thanks everyone. I prefer to do 30DS in the morning so will think I will just brave up and run around 7-8pm, the sun is only just setting then so it's still light.0

Early morning or late at dusk. Grab a bright top, a few LED lights that have their own power & go for it. Also if you are going to run during the day (like I friggen do at about 1pm) then run where it's windy & very shady.... that helps.
Also helps that I live by the bay as well.0
