Yummy Sweet Potato Fries :)
Hey guys,
There are probably heaps of these already but I modified a few recipes and they are so delicious! A healthy treat
Ingredients:
- about 5" sweet potato (mine was 258g), peeled, chopped into fries
- spray oil
- 2tsp garlic powder
- 2tsp onion powder
- 0.5 - 1tsp paprika (depending how spicy you like it)
- 0.3tsp oregano leaves
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
- Peel and chop sweet potato into fries
- Boil for 5 - 7 minutes
- Meanwhile, combine spices in medium bowl
- Drain fries and pat dry with paper towel
- Spray with cooking oil spray
- Place fries in bowl with spices and shake bowl to coat
- Place fries on cooking tray and put in preheated oven for 15 minutes
- Turn fries on tray and cook for a further 15 minutes
Serve with your favourite ranch, aioli, or other sauce/dressing! (I had mine with aioli)
Nutrition (without sauce/dressing) for whole recipe:
Calories: 285
Carbs: 119
Fat: 3
Protein: 9
Sodium: 4
Sugar: 34
I had a big lunch and ate it all myself, but could probably serve 2 especially if as a side dish. The flavour of the spices is so delicious with just a little kick from the paprika
