Weighing meat?

I was wondering if when I'm calculating how much meat I ate, if I should weight it before or after cooking? I just had a lean 2oz hamburger but I'm not sure how much it weighed before cooking.

from what i have heard, it should be the weight before you cook it.

From what I can see, either should be fine. Most food searches in MFP for meat bring up the different ways to cook it, as well as raw versions to choose from.

After. If you weigh it before, than you are adding extra fluids that are lost through the cooking process, which you are not eating. If it is weighed after, then it is a more accurate estimation of what you are eating.
