I'm taking a break from myfitnesspal. It is a wonderful site, but I'm not ready for it.
I've been obsessing negatively over my body for quite some time, and while I'd love to change it, fixating over my diet just increases those negative thoughts, and it's not healthy. I need to stop this self-loathing. It's frightening.
When I can do this the right way, and the healthy way, I'll be back
But in the mean time, thank you for the encouragement, and keep up the great work!

You are a BEAUTIFUL person!!!! I know from my past that it can sometimes seem overwhelming to be on a weight loss journey. Please don't be so hard on yourself. Remember all you have is today.....so it's just one step at a time. I am wishing you the BEST!!!!!!0

I originally went on this website because my sister was worried that I wasn't eating enough with all the running that I was doing, I made the account but didn't sign on much... now I'm on everyday and log everything and I can understand how it can get a little overwhelming... even if you do leave for awhile I suggest checking back in to read posts sometimes even if you don't log your food... just focus more on eating healthy whole foods and on working out and you will hopefully be able to start thinking positively about yourself... you do have to be ready for the lifestyle change of eating right for good and exercising for good, you'll get there don't worry, until then good luck and remember we're still here.

It is good to recognize what you need to help yourself. I just want to tell you that you are so beautiful although you may currently not feel that way. I am familiar with the self negativity and self consciousness, but I know that when you work on the inside just as much as the outside, you will be more at peace. Try some yoga, writing, music, reflecting, volunteering, reading about self-improvement, prayer (this is what helps me the most particularly). Sometimes we have to be selfish and help and take care of our minds and spirit because when they are not right, it is difficult to live happily.
