Question about MFP questionaire on exercise level

Well I do not think I am sedentary because I am not working and sitting at a desk but not quite sure if I am light movement. Please give me your advice. I am up and moving during the day cleaning my house and i walk my dog 7 days a week for 20-25 min. Choosing the wrong one either gives me too many calories a day or too little. Sedentary says I get 1390 calories a day plus excercise calories but light movement gives me over 1500 calories. So what catagory am I?

Thanks!

if you go with lightly active make sure you don't also count the dog walking as exercise.. i struggled with this too bc friday, sat, and sun i waitress 14 hour double shifts but mon- wed i work at a desk. I truly think im "active" but went with lightly active because i didnt want to overeat. this has worked well for me and ive been losing exactly according to my goal. shoot me a friend request if you would like.
  • If you choose lightly active then don't log your walk. If you want to log your walk, choose sedentary. Both of these numbers will be similar, but pick whichever one is slightly lower just to be on the safe side.
