several
I have over 30K on another board0 -
Quite a few. This one isn't blocked at work. At least yet.0

I frequented bodybuilding.com. That got boring after there were too many people that knew what they were talking about, and there were no new questions to ask. It's also a sausage fest.0

Women think there are a lot of creepers on this site, imagine what the the handful of semi-attractive women over there deal with.0 -
lol babycenter
and a College Football board.
Now THOSE people were jerks.0 -

5 stars, would read again.0 -
I was actually of a member of a Christian site for a few months, but a lot of their forums were a heck of a lot meaner than these.0

Yeah, go to the SEC rant at Tigerdroppings then come back here and complain about meanies...0 -

Ohhhh... so I need to sign up at bodybuilding.com. Got it.0 -

Make a point to tailgate a game at Tiger Stadium... so much fun- and we're not as bad as you think. Mostly drinking games, short skirts, and cajun food... not a bad deal! :-) At least that's how it is with me/our tailgates.0 -

I've been to 3 games in Tiger Stadium (in the 90's). The Rant is the flypaper of SEC smack talk, so that was not a shot at LSU. LSU fans are just fun college football fans, even though I wanted to b**ch slap a few on my walk back to the lot after our game at Kyle (Texas A&M) this year.
I'm from LA, so I know LSU fans.0 -

Funny, I'm from TX.
And there are ALWAYS a few who deserve a b****-slap or two.0 -
Too many to count, since the early 90's.0

I'm on a ton of motorcycle forums from local to world-wide. I'm also on a Trans-Siberian Orchestra forum, and on a photography & urban exploring forum. I've not really encountered many meanies, but I attempt to not be stupid too. More drama here than on the others though.

I second Babycenter. Holy crap those women are vicious. Monstrous. They will say the most brutal thing and if you call them mean it gets really nasty. Then everyone would jump on that person for not being strong enough to even be a parent. Talk about needing popcorn!
MFP is really tame to me. I think there are a bunch of people here that are sensitive about being unhealthy or overweight and it just carries over to the message boards.0 -
at least 100,000 posts over dozens of boards over 13 years.
it used to be an addiction
This is the nicest, least vicious message board I've ever posted on. The people that get worked up on here would get crucified on a normal message board.0 -
On how many message boards did you post before here?
CNN, BBC and Yahoo News(UK) and 2 sites owned by a friend, where all the foreign based youth of my country of origin gather. It's a melee.
Just curious, and somewhat in response to the "meanie" threads that pop up religiously.
I think I have over 1000 posts on 6 different boards (yeah, I never work), and this place actually has FEWER meanies than most.
MFPers are more courteous by far. Even the blunt ones.
Edit: I have more than 200K posts each on the 2 sites owned by a friend. People are always fighting or bickering over something where refereeing is needed. Rules aren't so strict. The fights are part of the appeal.0 -
This is my first. . I'm not generally one of the "meanies". . but I do poke a little fun at the whiners sometimes. . It's just kinda funny to see them go apoplectic over nothing!. . :devil:0

I kinda feel like I need to check it out now...just to see what their creepers are like0 -
I have joined and left several hockey forums because if you weren't one of the first people on there you get ignored. If you live in a place where it is warm year round, some of the Canadians (not all, there are some terrific ones) can be really mean. They also don't listen to logic or facts and have never visited said warm place but still pass judgements on those that live there. They also fail to understand that modern technology allows hockey to be played indoors (even out if you use synthetic ice).
To me, people on here are more sarcastic than mean. Or if the OP doesn't get the answer they are looking for, it's mean. Or you see the same question/post several times a day. It gets old. I have never made a new topic because I use that handy search feature and read past threads to find good info. I get tired of seeing 50 million of the same post about whatever the hot topic is that week.0
