DOMS

Does it feel like the flu ? I've kicked up my workouts this week & today I have flu symptoms. Still super sore after tylenol in all the places I worked

I feel it only in the muscles, and only if they're being stretched. If you have symptoms in your stomach or head, then something is probably wrong, and you might really be sick.

Its simple do your muscles hurt or are you sick? I am not sure how someone would not know the difference.

It feels similar to the body ache that happens with the flu.

But, you would not have a fever, a head cold, a cough, a sore throat, dizziness, or stomach pain/vomiting.

No, flu symptoms are something else, but they aren't DOMS.

Flu symptoms can be indicative of overtraining, which can be caused by undereating combined with a lot of exercise, but that is usually longer term and I would not expect it to happen in a week. Probably your flu symptoms are you getting sick.
