5 week plateau

I have been around 165 for five weeks. Some days I've been up to 168, but it goes down again. I occasionally have my students tape my lessons for those who are absent. Below I have linked to the pages with videos from yesterday and last Friday. I think I look so much heavier in yesterday's.

Last Friday

I wonder if my heart meds change has affected my weight. I think I look so much heavier this week. I'm also anxious about seeing my extended family over Christmas break. I changed my goal from 2 lbs a week to 1 with only 3 thirty minute runs a week. This gives me 1500 calories a day (I think.)

My heaviest weight was 215, two years ago, I took off 10 and kept it off for a year. Recently I have lost forty, and I am stuck here. My profile is open if you want to look at my 215 lb picture (I'm wearing a brown tank top). I am at 190 in the blue tank top with my skinny-mini best friend.

I checked your diary back for around 5 days. It is so up and down with food. Not enough and then eating a little more?

Well done to you for getting down in you weight so far.

Personally, I don`t think it is any medication that is causing the stall, but that the diet needs to be a little better.

I don`t say that to be mean but just to try to get you on the right track with things?

My diary isn't very accurate though. I haven't been logging very well. Thank you. My 'ideal medical weight' is 150, so I'm not too far away. I want to get to 132, however.

I am sure you will get there but try logging a little bit more consistently? It really is the key to helping us?

I would like to get to 135 am at 139 at the moment for the last few months and my clothes fit perfect I think maybe I need to just go for the muscle tone more, maybe that is something to think about also?

    Hi there,

My husband is on Ace inhibitors, Beta blockers, and diuretics for his heart disease, but this hasn't affected his weight. In fact we have been asked to look for fluctuations of of upwards of 2lb as this could be a problem for his heart. Therefore if you are on the same sort of meds, I don't think they could affect your weight much.

I think that you may have water retention problems or may be having too much salt. There is a site with calculators that tells you how many calories you should be eating based on your calorie output . The link is:

I am currently 173 and need to definitely get to 150lb and the maybe more. If you want to add me, send a request My diary is open and mostly healthy due to my husbands health we cannot eat processed foods if possible.
