spinning apps?

I've never been to a spinning class, so I'm not exactly sure what it is --
but I imagine its up tempo music along with an instructor telling you when to change your speed / resistance.
Is that basically correct?
Are there any good apps that replicate the in class experience? There's a single spinning cycle in my building's gym

On Android the only one I've found that's decent in Indoor Cycling Trainer. Provides a pretty spin routine to follow. The only drawback is that if you for any reason it cuts off, you have to start at the beginning again. That app would be 1000% better if they added a feature where you could start a 60 min workout at the 24 min mark or wherever you were when it cut off. Having to do the warmup and such all over again sucks.
But overall it works, and works well0
