I figured this was a good enough time to share my progress:

The first picture is from October 2011 and the second one is from tonight!
My highest weight was 245. I lost about 10 pounds between December 2011 and March 2012 by exercising more with no real dietary changes. However, in March, I started taking my health a lot more seriously. I quit drinking. I started running. I switched to a simpler diet (protein/legumes/vegetables every meal). I started using MFP religiously. In May, I started taking Muay Thai classes. I now train between 5-6 times a week. Life is great! I feel great!

I'm 27, 5'1" but I started at 278 and I am just now getting to 240 - so this post really hits close to home. You look incredible! Much much younger, and I would have never guessed you to be 170.
