Netting out Calories from workout ? Should I ?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am using a Polar HRM during my workouts and I was wondering when I log the calories it says I have burned during my run, should I subtract the number of calories that my metabolic rate would have burned in the same period of time ?

example: If I burn about 100 cals an hour doing nothing, then if ~I run for an hour and my HRM says I burned 800 cals, should I subtract the 100 I would have burned anyhoo to give a net additional calorie burn the workout gave me ?

Thanks !

I would subtract them yes, because it is likely that the formula the machine uses based on your heart rate doesn;t account for normal metabolic output.
  • You also have to factor in the amount you would burn from the after burn effect.
    You exercise and burn
You stop and you still have a raise metabolism rate.
Try eating them what it says and try decreasing it for a bit and see.
    Everyone is different.
It seems I need to eat them all back or I kind of stop losing.
