How's it going? I'm Kevin and when I stepped on the scale a couple days ago it did not make me happy. I've always been a heavy guy, but I am now at the heaviest I've ever been: 313 lbs. Yikes. I've half-heartedly dieted in the past, and shortly slipped into my usual ways, but now a change needs to happen.

In the past I'd say that I was just "cursed with a slow metabolism," but that was just a nice lie to take the blame off of myself. I know the biggest culprit is me, and I know I have set up horrible eating habits. So now I'm on the way to changing my ways of looking and feeling about food.

I started July 1st at 425 and now we weigh about the same... You can lose weight and keep it off if you decide that this is a lifestyle change and go about changing your relationship with food. It is fuel for life not the secret lover hanging out waiting for your caress... Be honest with yourself and log everything you will lose weight. Feel free to add me if you would like some ideas from a food diary that is mostly clean eating and someone that will call things the way he sees them.
  • Hey sounds like you are ready to do what you need to do. I worked in health/fitness but yet topped the scales at 330lbs. I just wasn't ready to make my own choice to admit I was at fault and change my life...

I have lost 102lbs and I am looking to lose 58 more. I sent you a friend request! Best wishes on your journey.
