Hi!

I'm new here and I'm hoping you all could help me. Yesterday I was under 800 calories just because of all my exercise. Today of course I am starving and listen to my body and eat healthy, leafy greens and lean protein. Still 230 under. I have it set to lose 2lb a week and just now it told me if everyday was like today I would be three pounds heavier in 5 weeks. Can someone help me figure this out? I ate all good food, not junk.

    That doesn't sound correct. Are you sure you have your goals set correctly? What is your daily calorie goal supposed to be?

    You're right I had my settings wrong. I had it only losing 1 lb a week when I wanted to lose 2. However, it still doesn't make sense. When I am under goal and I still end up gaining weight? Am I missing something?

    You wouldn't gain weight being under and MFP wouldn't tell you that you would.. Something is still wrong with your settings. Are you sure it's set to LOSE weight rather than GAIN weight? The first options that pop up are the gain 1 or 2 pounds in the drop down. You have to scroll down to get the lose weight options.

    If the losing/gaining settings are right, you also have to make sure your weight has been updated. If you have lost weight since the last time you logged your weight, the system doesn't know that, so it's basing your projection on whatever the last weight logged was.
