So, TV dinners are better for you, simply because of the lower caloies count?

If that's the only thing you're concerned about, you may want to rethink your ideals and goals.

Why not drink diet Coke all day!? That'll keep your calories down.

At the bar, diet drinks are what I choose. It's all about the calories if you want to lose weight.

What a bunch of idiots. Health warning because the chefs foods have more calories, are they for real? Oh no calories are unhealthy.:noway:

:noway: Has anybody been watching Jamie's 15 minute meals recently?

Every single one of his (well balanced) dishes use healthier ingredients like Greek yoghurt instead of cream, acceptable amounts of olive oil than he used to use to use (which was WAY too much imho) lots of fresh vegetables and herbs, good cuts of meat and plenty of fish.

He also gives a calorie count per portion (typically averaging between 500 - 700 cals) at the start of every episode.

I for one LOVE this new format and wish other TV chefs did the same thing! It is so much more inspiring than the bog standard (and often more expensive) ready meals which, in my experience, have far less flavour and texture than home made meals.
