yo yo dieter

I've lost significant weight about 3 times as an adult (30, 60, 85). However, after each time, I have gained the weight back. This is so frustrating. Each time with work or the lack of time has hindered me to continue to go to the gym. Stress causes me to eat more, especially the unhealthy stuff. I'm just frustrated with the yo yo weight loss and dieting. I work from 7am-5pm. Most days I come home tired and not wanting to go to the gym. My fiance and I rarely cook because we come home late from a long day of work.

I know all of the right things to do - go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Get about 30 mins of cardio each time. Lift weights to help build muscle which will burn calories when resting. Watch what you eat.

But I'm lacking motivation for the weight loss this time around.

These things happen to most of us. I am eating those holiday cookie(s) that my DH brought from his office, even though I know I shouldn't be eating it. But deprivation will lead to more cravings. So I had my share, not gonna eat any more :)

    Few tips that I learnt:

Get rid off anything junk from your house.
Eat organic Dark chocolate everyday :)

Cook for a week, cut up veggies, have lots of fruits, nut butters, cocoa powder, agave around.

My fav recipe for stress eating: mix up any nut butter, agave, cocoa powder and eat with banana/apples.

You could also try fitness DVDs. I love working out to DVDs. I am not very fond of gyms as I am sure I will get lazy. If you have DVDs at home, there is no excuse for not working out. Currently I am doing a combo of 30DS and BFBM (Jillian's DVDs). I love doing it and look forward to do it. I have a schedule in my blog.

I also recommend Bob Harper DVDs...

And feel free to add me as friend.
