I am signed up for 2 races next year. First is my first, half marathon (may) the second is a spartan sprint mud run(June).
My plan is to work on my upper body for the mud run, but I need the endurance for the 1/2 Mary. Does anyone have any advice of the best course of action to attack these?
I also want to do a few 5k's but not sure if I should interview them between the other big races, or just do some after. Or is this just begin too racist? Last year I did several 5ks here and there and had a lot of fun.

During the week, work on upper body and shorter runs. On the weekends, start building on longer runs. You have plenty of time to build up the endurance to run a half by May.0 -

I'm actually quite interested in this as well. I'm looking to do Tough Mudder and a full marathon so would be interested in what advice you get0
