Sliced if I can - whole if I don't have time.
I have a co-worker who eats the ENTIRE thing. Core and all.0 -
Just like my enemies, I peel the skin of my apples then dip them in 'nut butter.0

At work I eat them whole. At home I sit down with a knife and a jar of peanut butter, slice a chunk off the core and dip it in the jar and chow down! YUMMY!0
-
Whole. Just bite right into it. Love them!0

I usually cut mine up and eat them that way-I feel like I'm getting more out of my snack. Sometimes I'll eat them plain, other times I'll have peanut butter with them. Either way I prefer Granny Smith0 -

I guess I'm one of the weird ones. I eat the whole thing, including the core and seeds. Pink ladies are my favorite.0

I love honeycrisps, and I eat them whole (not the core though)0

Yes, seeds, core, stem - nothing left. I find it quite odd0 -
I like to dice half a granny smith small with peel on and put it in a nice mesculine and spinach salad. YUM YUM.. the greens can be a bit bitter and it's nice to have that tart-sweet apple taste.0

i slice them and cut out the core to give to the dog.
always leave the skin on,,,,
This is the part you SHOULDN'T give to your dog. The seeds are toxic to them (and they build up over time, so if it happens, it could be too late.)

ETA: It's cyanide the seeds contain, so I don't imagine you "seed, core and all" eaters should be doing it either.0 -
AGH! DON'T EAT THE SEEDS! They actually contain low levels of arsenic which is a cumulative poison. My parent's dog used to eat the apples that fell off their tree--the entire thing. She ended up passing away from kidney failure--something the vets attribute to the arsenic in the seeds. :-/
I apples, though! Honeycrisps are my favorite--cut the core out and munch on the entire thing.0 -
wow, you must reaaalllly be bored.0

If they are from the store I eat them intact, all but the core. My large dog watches, with drool dripping onto either my leg or the floor, then he eats the core. If I get them from a friend who doesn't spray them, I have learned that if I don't slice them, I munch on an occasional worm. So those I slice and core.0

Again, DON'T FEED THEM TO YOUR DOG. The seeds are toxic to them.0 -
I prefer to slice them and squeeze some lemon or lime juice on them and carry the ziploc bag around so I have a healthy snack while on the go!0

apple slices dipped in peanut butter/almond butter. favorite snack atm.
whole apples depending on the type of skin/apple.
favorite types- honeycrisp is #1. recently had a Ida Reds they were yummy. Gala if I can't find either of those.0 -
RE: to the core/seed eaters, there's a tiny amount of cyanide in the seeds. Mind you that you'd need the seeds from a bushel-ful to do harm, but still something to think about.
When at home, I use an apple corer/slicer; 8 core-free slices in one fell swoop (check profile, one pic is a fruit plate) When not convenient, I'll eat whole (still no core). Leave skin on either way. I've been on a Gala and Fuji kick recently, completely ruined me for red delicious (they like cardboard to me now).0 -

oh jeez, i had no idea. she loves them! i'll stop doing that, thanks for the heads up. that would be a horrible christmas if i killed the dog.
man, i should have checked that out.. now i feel like a bad dog mom!0 -
I just eat the whole. I have no time to sit and cut an apple, or slice it! Just grab it and eat it lol0

It's actually cyanide, not arsenic. And it's not enough to be harmful. Apple seeds evolved to be eaten by mammals and excreted in their dung intact to move the seeds to new places.0 -
I just sink my teeth into them..............plain and simple.0
