Hi all,

I am a 52 year old male who 6 years ago had a very serious neck injury. there is one operation that could be done but it is too dangerous to do at the present (Benefits/Risks)

I have always kept fit and healthy and I am a non-smoker as well as a vegetarian!

I would love someone to chat to and or be my mentor fot this journey.

I am 206LB and UNABLE to do exercise (short walks max)

I am a good listener and would enjoy listening about your journey - please get i touch if you would like a diet buddy

Many thanks and Take Care
Dave

Hi Dave, sorry to hear about your neck. I broke mine about 8 years ago and had to wear a halo and then a neck brace. Never really been the same since but I wasn't crippled or paralised so feel really lucky.

Feel free to add me for support if you like
  • Hello Dave,

First off, kudos to you for realizing you need to make a change and reaching out for support!

Not being able to be as active as you would like is depressing, I'm sure. Are you able to do anything that is low-impact such as stationary bike or water aerobics?

My daily efforts may differ from yours in both diet and activity, but I'll send a friend request in case you could use a 'cheering section' on your journey :)

    Best of luck to you!
