I always struggle with telling myself "No, you don't need that (fill in the blank)" ... but this time it's been different. I went to dinner with my soon to be Father-in-law and my fince (sp) ... they had TWO hot fudge sundae's together and all I had was one bite. I guess I just keep thinking about the guilt I will feel later when I have to log those calories...guilt is a POWERFUL thing. lol.

I guess I'm just amazed at how much this site has helped me to eat better and make better choices.

That is awesome! Self control makes me feel so empowered, how about you??

When that scale says "Job well done" you will be so happy that you contained yourself!

    Great Job!

Good for you only taking the one bite. Maybe it was all you needed and then your body said no. :flowerforyou:

I agree and the Easter holiday is not helping out either. But we need to take it one moment at a time.

For me, today was a day to be lazy and roughly not do anything because I have been going nuts for the last three weeks (stress wise). So I had the attitude of it really doesn't matter what I have to eat today.

But it does matter. I 'confessed' :embarassed: what I had today on my diet tracker and it does show.

Now, I gotta get back on the journey and change my attitude. For me, that's what makes the difference.

Yep the logging definitely keeps me honest. The other day someone brought a chocolate sheet cake which is like my favorite cake ever. I just had a bite. I didn't want to completely keep myself from having a taste but I didn't want to feel guilty about it either.

The scale is about the only thing that keeps me going!! lol... I don't know what will happen if I stop seeing results, let's hope that guilt factor helps! =D
