ive been binging for quite some time and couldnt get out of this funk (the reason i binge is because i was an overweight child and ever since i can remember my mom controlled my food so whenever she isnt around i binge...) sometimes it gets out of control and i sneak food into my room even when she is home... and today... she caught me... she is blaming it on my boyfriend.. saying that bc he said he doesnt care if i gain 20 lb or lose 20 lb i will still look perfect to him it worries her that im letting myself go... what she doesnt know is this has been going on for years...
but the good news in all this as mad as i am that she caught me i am happy bc now i want to prove her wrong and show her i really do care about losing weight and i dont binge... and i hope never to binge again now that the one who caused my binges knows i do it and is jumping to the conclusion its bc of my bf which its sooo not!!!
just needed to let out these frustrations and would love the support of ppl trying to stop binging... i need to stay strong in this...

Do you have a professional therapist to help you work through this? These kinds of issues can be really hard to straighten out without qualified help.
I don't have a problem with binges, myself, but would be glad to be supportive of you if you'd like.
Best of luck to you, in any case.0 -
I am also trying to stop binging, the last few days have been particularly bad!
I really believe that a lot of positive can come out of proving people wrong, and i've had a lot of success with this in the past with my parents as well!!
Although i don't want to diminish your confidence, I would just like to say that as you have been binging for year don't be too hard on yourself if you slip up the odd time - just keep determined!!
PM me if you want, we can support each other!0 -

Be careful with nutritionists. All it takes to be a nutritionist is a weekend class on nutrition. A dietician on the other hand has a college degree and continuing education. It may be helpful.
Personally, I have never had a never ending binge cycle... I had an EDNOS and I would binge occasionally. I would mostly starve and when I binged I purged. I have been fighting it for years by myself and it gets easier if you can stay motivated to yourself. You arent alone hang in there!0 -
