good quad size

I'm looking at adding inches to my arms and legs and I am curious what would be a good goal to set. Right now my thigh is 17.25 which in my opinion is little. I would guess a good goal should be around 20". Would like to hear some opinions. When I signed up for my gym they gave me a sheet to fill out on my goal measurements. Sounds like it should keep me motivated. I've heard the first month or 2 you can gain a lot with the right diet

It is going to depend on your genetics. 3 inches on your quads in a couple months is unrealistic, though. Just get yourself a personal trainer and start working at it. You really need a personal trainer to help you out on this.

    Happy lifting.

I wouldn't worry about setting a circumference goal. Just start eating enough to grow and start lifting those heavy *kitten* weights. You've gotten some good advice in the myriad other threads you've started asking basically the same question over and over again in slightly different ways.

    Eat
    Lift
    Rest
    Repeat

never heard of a gym asking you for goal measurements other then maybe waist size.

some people are predisposed to have larger body parts than others (giggity).

I think that this may depend on the rest of your measurements such as your height, waist, should width, even length of your arms and legs.

It could be the difference between looking like a track and field athlete and a wrestler.

I always recommend Vitamin D to my wife whenever she's got an injury or ailment. I'm assuming it means something different in this context.

I know. I sometimes have the mind of a 12 year old so anytime there is a reference to Vitamin D it always brings to mind what it means at my house and my repeated and constant offers to provide it to my wife for whatever is ailing her.

Which made it even funnier that Rock was recommending it to this guy.

Just lift heavy and work on everything. If you spend too much time "concentrating" on your thighs you could end up looking unbalanced. Full body workouts FTW.

And to actually address your question, MY thighs are 21" which I'd say is average for muscular thighs on a woman, so I'd say as a man, your's won't be too big until you are at least over that number.
