How do you add pictures to posts?

have the photo hosted online somewhere like photobucket, make sure the filename or folders containing it don't have spaces and then...
[ img] photo URL [ img] remove the leading space in each bracket

Reason to avoid spaces is that they are replaced by %20 in the URL so..
my family vacation 2012
gets read as
my%20family%20vacation%202012
which isn't the same
