Jogging in the Snow

So, I live in GA where it doesn't get very cold (30's at the lowest most times); however, I'm currently visiting family in PA for the holidays. I always try to get in my jogs no matter where I am, and regardless of the weather. I don't think I was prepared for the cold though...

lmao ya you were not prepared lolol
ontario canada here you need long pants to start
what you are wearing upper body is great but put on a fall jacket
finderless mitts and a headband (keeps ears warm and holds in earbuds )
and just remember to go slow you dont know were the ice is hiding under the snow
OH and AWESOME that you are out there doing it good on ya0 -
*BBRRRR*
I hope you get/got in some good runs regardless!

My head was fine for the most part with my beanie and beard. My upper body was fine until I was standing still for the picture, though a trainer jacket would have been nice. My legs were hairy popsicles.0

You definitely needed long pants on. I ran this morning in long running pants, a lined long-sleeved top with a jogging type jacket. My upper thighs were cold, but the rest was warm. I think it was less than 20 degrees F.0

You need to wear some long tights or pants below about 35 deg. Stay warm!0

I echo "can the shorts" and put on long pants! Did a slower 3.2 mile run in ice & snow this morning at 14 degrees.(Northwestern Chicago area). Had on winter tights, double socks, headband over ears, fleece hat, lighter jacket and ski gloves. My hands were sweating at the end. Getting out, you've already lapped everyone who is sitting on the couch!0

I'm all for shorts whatever the weather
It's not cold if you're moving, and if it is, move faster
Great effort!0 -
You need running tights, and possibly a non-cotton shirt. Cotton can get really ugly in the cold, because when you sweat the fabric just absorbs it and holds it there up against your skin. Wet+Cold=Really Cold.
Your lungs might give you some feedback, too, later on after your first really cold run. That goes away after a couple runs. Nothing to get too worried about.0
