I am being so bad right before Christmas!
I'm eating whatever I want; like tonight I ate pizza, mac n cheese, and a Reese's Christmas tree! I also haven't worked out in about a week. Has anyone else just completely stopped caring? I don't know if it's stress from the holidays or overtime at work but I have just come to a big fat halt. 0

heh heh. Naughty is more fun than nice.
And, yes. I've joined in all the Reindeer Games.0 -
From the title, I totally thought that this was going in a different direction.0

Yes! Well I have worked out everyday this week except for Wednesday but eating...I've eaten ice cream 2 days this week!! Plus chocolate...
Did I mention chocolate?0 -
Haha, I guess I can't wonder why I'm not losing any weight!0

i'm in this gang! if it makes you feel any better, i'm also smoking the odd cigarette. it was my hubby's 40th bday last weekend, and i've just decided to eff it all now! i'm taking a well deserved break. it's been 2 years since i had a proper break in training, so i'm taking 3 weeks. hopefully i'll come back stronger and motivated again.
ETA- and i've been filling my face- i've eaten so much chocolate! and it's kind of nice to not worry about it.0 -
Warning, I'll be blunt!
Today I had pizza, cookies and a peanut butter cup. But, I also jogged for over an hour. Get moving and burn some of those cals so you can have what you want! That way, when you wake up on Jan. 2nd, you won't be wearing a bigger size pair of jeans!0 -
Is this a real post, or just food porn?0

I will be honest as well. I have just said F it but I know what I need to do after the holidays so I am not going to stress about it.0

I'm eating slightly more than my plan right now but am staying on my exercise schedule including the workout I'll do Monday morning.0

This was me last year. I baked cookies then got sick for a week - I always overeat when I'm sick. And then it was Christmas . I had list about 35 lbs at that point, gained 3 lbs in December, but in January got right back on it. I've lost another 35 to 40 lbs since then.
Holidays can be hard but it's not the end of the world if it goes badly. Just get back to it after the holidays! You can do it!0 -
I've actually upped the exercise routine since I'm off work and have the time. Hopefully that will offset some of the extra calories from Christmas festivities. I am still logging pretty faithfully and trying my best on the days I don't have social events. You can undo a lot of hard work in just a few days of saying to heck with it.0

I so thank you for posting this, because I needed a big fat reality check that nobody is perfect and we all jump off of the wagon every so often and that it's OKAY!...as long as we live happily and pick ourselves back up and get back to it for the greater good of a healthy AND happy life
That being said, I think I found my wagon again today and im on it...yesterday however I was probably worse than all of you combined. I started the day with a fiber one brownie and a homemade chocolate brownie...mid day I had a frosted sugar cookie, later mid day I had another brownie, some cheesey taters, an oatmeal raisin cookie and a mint chocolate chip brownie. I fasted for like a whole 6 hours and then ended the day with 2 slices of pizza, a breadstick and a ice cream sandwhich.
Top that ish'.....lol but today I am moving forward and only laughing about the old cow of a person that appeared yesterday!0 -

This^^
I'm just coming off a week of reduced workouts due to a minor injury. I am NOT trying to miss any more workouts than I have to. I also am taste testing all the Christmas goodies I am baking...0 -
Lol I've been bad too. Really bad! I have not worked out since November and I've been eating healthy off and on. But luckily
I have not gained anything. Kinda just staying where Im at. Just joined a gym though so should get back to it soon .... Don't worry we all have our days! I'm sure you'll get back to it soon0 -
Yeah, i've been pretty bad too since yesterday. oh well. just trying not to overdo it, though i really bought too many sweets, and have too many plans for baked goods. lol. food pantry might be getting a donation of candy... haha.0

I don't think Santa has any moral high ground for putting you on the naughty list for unhealthy eating and fitness...0

I am enjoying the holidays, eating well when I can but enjoying time with family and friends without worrying about the calories. The world did not end so I have time to repent after the holidays!0

I'm sort of semi-bad. The jaw that I broke six weeks ago flared up again on Monday. Absolute agony most of the time, and when attempting to chew the pain increases to passing-out-level. So I'm not going over my calorie count...but the food I'm eating is processed, mushy junk. Tinned spaghetti hoops, mashed potato, burger buns, chocolate milk, cottage cheese, cheetos. Basically anything that'll melt in my mouth without me needing to chew it. No fruit or veg except for tinned pears. No real protein, at least no meat. No pulses or seeds. Bleh. And no exercise other than walking - and not enough of that.0
-
All is forgiven, but only if you make better choices tomorrow. Just because you fell of the wagon one day doesn't mean you can't pick yourself up and get back on.0
-
It is evident that your definition of "bad" and mine are vastly different. My "Dear Santa, I've been a naughty girl" letter was very, very different.0

There are just so many temptations this time of year - cookies, candy of all sorts, and pie. Ooooh the pie - a few years ago there were 9 people at our Thanksgiving table, and 11 pies! We're a bit better now - there were 9 of us and 'only' 7 pies. And I'm headed to a sister's house for a few days over Christmas, and they eat out EVERY evening for dinner. Their 'traditional' Christmas Eve dinner is to have pizza delivered. We will have a turkey dinner Christmas day, but other than that we'll be eating out every evening. **sigh**
I"m still working out just about every day, but my eating has been crazy! I'm not going to stress about it, but I'm going to try like heck to limit the snacks and sweets - and then get right back on track when I get home.0 -
It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one letting go a little over the holidays. I'll definitely push myself more once January comes! Thanks guys!0
