Need some advice....

I need some advice on the best course of action.
I am running a half marathon on Jan. 20th/13.
Yesterday I ran 10.5 miles. Next Saturday's long run is 11 miles.
But next weekend I will be visiting my mom for Christmas, starting Friday.
So I was thinking of running my 11 mile long run this Wednesday, Boxing Day instead of doing it on Saturday. I can't do long runs on Monday or Thursday as I have to work Monday and Thursday (Christmas week) all day. I can't run on Christmas Day as we are doing the family thing.
Is it too soon after my 10.5 mile run yesterday to run 11 miles on this coming Wednesday?
I will also be doing my short runs in there too, the 3-5 mile ones. But can I make this switch without risking injury?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you were a brand new runner I'd probably suggest making two of your intermediate runs a little longer and not worrying too much about one missed long run but I think you've got enough miles in that you could probably do the long run on Wednesday without any undue risk. You're probably already at the stage where a 10 mile run is no longer a daunting task and you don't feel overly fatigued after one (funny how things change isn't it) and I'm sure your body will be begging for a run after Christmas day!:laugh:0

I agree.
You still have 4 weeks so I would do exactly what Brian suggested.0 -
Thank everyone.
My legs did feel a little tired and tight last evening but I chalk that up to running 5 miles on Friday, running 10.5 'lies on Saturday and snowshoeing for an hour on Saturday as well and running errands..0 -
I think you'll be OK either way. You are routinely running these longer runs with no problems. Doing what Brian said would definitely be the safest route to go. Knowing you snowshoed yesterday for the 1st time ever is probably what made your legs tired...working a new set of muscles. And btw, I really admire what you are doing!0
