I don't know why I'm posting this on here - but I just needed to get it out...
So, this Saturday I went round to the parents to drop off the Christmas presents.
My bro, his wife and daughter are away at her parents' over Xmas so and were coming round to collect them on Saturday or Sunday.
So I rocked up at my parents' - admittedly unannounced - and at first I thought maybe they were out since my dad's car wasn't in the drive, but I knocked on the door and my mum answered so I went straight over to the car to get the presents.
I scooped them up and went inside but as I was getting to the door a couple slid off straight into a ****ing puddle so I quickly scooped them up and got inside quick to dry them off.
At first I didn't notice anything, As I'd dropped the presents on the way in I was pissed off and sorting out some stuff to re-wrap them, but I just...sort of...noticed out of the corner of my eye and it took a couple of seconds to realise what it was, but then I saw him.
I asked her outright and she didn't even try to deny it - even going so far as to defend it, telling me how she likes him. Obviously I was annoyed and my first instinct was to try reasoning it out - but sometimes it's a lost cause and you have to let these things work themselves out.
I just don't understand why she would watch that ****ing Dr Oz though!!
I feel tainted just thinking about it.....

Dr. Oz is the one that promotes all the weight loss pills. You will always see the commercials Dr. Oz highly reccomends. He is a crock in my opinion.0 -

My cousin who is doing the Body By Vi challenge wrote into his show and asked to be on it. :huh: :noway: But honestly, I never watch Dr. Oz and honestly think that he is a quack :laugh: thus why I don't watch his show. It annoys me when I walk into a doctors office or hospital and see his show on, and thank God for a smart phone to play games on, and watch my kid playing and read to him.0

My cousin who is doing the Body By Vi challenge wrote into his show and asked to be on it. :huh: :noway: But honestly, I never watch Dr. Oz and honestly think that he is a quack :laugh: thus why I don't watch his show. It annoys me when I walk into a doctors office or hospital and see his show on, and thank God for a smart phone to play games on, and watch my kid playing and read to him.
It's genuinely stressful for me to see the stuff he babbles on about...
What he is doing is not harmless- he is a medical doctor who is giving out bad advice just for a pay cheque that people are going to believe and take on board which could actively harm them. If they are ill and ignore their doctor's advice in favour of his then he should be liable for the outcome I think.0 -
