Need Motivation: Sugar Binge!!!

I went on a wicked sugar binge. People bringing in Christmas treats all week. I HAD been eating high protein, healthy carbs only and NO refined sugar.

I'M HAVING PROBLEMS REGULATING!

Need suggestions how to get my sugar levels good again because I feel pretty sick. Motivation to tell me why this is worth it.

it's still worth fighting for. I used to have sugar binges as well -- was the worst -- I would eat entire boxes of cereal. You just have to stay focused and get yourself to be able to stop after you've had two bowls regardless of whether you "feel" full.

I'd highly recommend you check out www.marksdailyapple.com for info on The Primal Blueprint / Paleo diet. Not eating bread/grains/sugars/nonfruit-vegcarbs/dessert/alcohol is really the only thing that is stopping me from having sugar binges. When I eat any of those things, my ability to regulate cravings goes out the window.

Remember that it's not over and you have to get back up and keep fighting! Good luck!

What kind of foods do you eat AFTER?
Is there any way to CLENSE some of this out of my system?

As always, fresh vegetables, lean meats, good fat. Your body will adjust in a few days.

You can cut back on the sugar, but I find the best thing to do is just stop. People who are sensitive to it have a hard time with grains, too. I do best on a low carb plan - something like 100g a day.

Thank you dear! I think this is worse than when I was just straight out starting my diet. Head, stomach and body feel WEIRD and HOLLOWED OUT. I don't even want to say what I've been eating THIS WEEK... oh, yeah, it was a week-long kinda deal!
