Christmas Eating Help!!!

Please help!
Been up to my ears in food, with parties etc..
My food diary is at most times good healthy food, but the last 2 weeks its been really hard with all the parties etc
If I Eat not so good food but stay at my calories that im supposed to it, will i still maintain or lose weight???
Thanks in advance and a very Merry Christmas!

  • If you stay within your calorie limit, then you are most likely still going to lose weight. However, you can still be under on on target for your calories and go over in fat content. In that case, the weight isn't going to come off so well. It's definitely hard and I am struggling with it myself, but the best thing to do is resist overindulging. Stay as on track as possible, though, and you will still see improvement!

Staying in budget is the important part. Good work on doing that! As for fat, fat doesn't make you fat.

either you need to allow yourself to eat freely, or dont. what i have done is plan the days where i will not worry about it. that way, i still feel like im on track because its in the plan. my days are the 24th, 25th, and 31st... other than that, im sticking to my good healthy choices... it comes down to you saying no, and you sticking to YOUR PLANS.

I decided to eat what I am served while visiting family but keep honest track of calories and when at home again try to compensate by sticking to strict 1200 calories for every day I went into the red. I am giving myself until January 1st before weighing again as i know i have gained but dont want to depress myself. So today is boxing day with loads of food again but its home tomorrow and back on track. Lets see if this works. CDH
