Any advice for getting slimmer thighs after doing Insanity?

Hi Everyone! I am a 5'2" 19-year-old female and I'm currently in my second round of Insanity! I'm absolutely OBSESSED with Insanity and I've seen fantastic results! After losing weight on my own for a year with different gym workouts and strict diets, I got the DVDs as a present and, with it, I was able to finally lose my last 5 1/2 lbs to get to my goal weight and I dropped a dress / pants size. I was absolutely THRILLED! However, for as hard as I'm working and as carefully as I'm eating, I still have some fat around my thighs that I'd really like to get rid of but I'm not sure how. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any workouts I should try? Anything?

    What are these "different gym workouts" and "strict diets"?

    Lift heavy. Eat a sustainable amount of calories for fat loss without too much sacrifice to muscle mass. Realize that, as a woman, you may be prone to a slight bit more fat on your thighs, and what exactly constitutes "some fat"?
  • what worked for me in leaning out even further was Lifting, especially with Les Mills Pump.... my thighs and hips and butt have made great strides from adding that on. Hope that helps

  • Fat loss comes mostly from diet. Continue your workouts, eat at a small calorie deficit, and be patient with yourself. The less you have to lose, the longer it is going to take.

    Can't spot remove. You can try working harder but you may just be stuck with genetics.

    My thought was Pump or ChaLEAN Extreme. While Insanity is great, heavy lifting helps build muscle, revs your metabolism and leans you out.

    Sqqqquaaaatttt! After insanity just start lifting heavy... Make sure you do a program though. Running with probably help too!

    Running has helped my thighs the most, besides losing weight overall.
