Here's what 6 months of MFP has done for me -- 42 pounds lost (actually, the 2011 picture wasn't at my heaviest). Same clothes (except for the blouse) a year later. Imagine if I'd actually started with MFP on January instead of July! Can't wait to see next year's Christmas pictures.

    I was comparing pics from the LA County Fair (Sept) for the last 5 years. I don't even recognize myself. Down 114 lbs. and it feels wonderful to laugh at my pics and not cry.

    That is fantastic! You are so much smaller, and I notice your posture looks so much more comfortable because you aren't hunching over like in the first shot!

    Thanks for all the great feedback. I'm just so glad i ran across that picture from last year. it's so easy to think I'm making such slow, minor progress because, well, i'm still obese. But a picture really puts it into perspective -- I'm making progress. Yippee!
