Polar HRM - which model

Hey all,

I used to have a Polar HRM, the F4. That one is now dead and I would like to get a new one. I have seen the F11 on Amazon, and this looks to be a good deal:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Polar-Pink-Fizz-Heart-Monitor/dp/B000UYLNUC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1356602147&sr=8-1

However, a lot of people have the F4. Is this because it is the best one? Not sure about the difference in the models.....

HELP :)

i've got the rcx5...all singing all dancing and love it even tho i'm no athlete. it's pricey but i love being able to download all HRM and GPS stuff - the full data set is saved not just the average stats for each workout.
Otherwise i'd consider the ft60 - GPS sensor can be added if you do running, cycling etc - or ft80 but again it's not cheap

They're all good; it just depends on what features you want/need. Go to their website and use their compare function and see if any of them are worth the extra costs.

I live in the UK and the compare function is not available on the UK site. It can compare US models, but they are of different costs and some are different models.......

What do you want to do with it. It's hard to give advice without knowing that.

Just get an estimate of calories? FT 4/7 are ok but less accurate than those that allow other parameters to be entered.
