One year on - A little difference but not enough

Each year I play in a rugby match on boxing day, and 2 old friends also come along to play, so we take a photo after the game each year as a tradition. I am the one on the right if you hadn't already worked that out. I can see some change since last year, but not enough, although i guess should be pleased with the progress. Am down from 18.5 stone in first pic to 15.5 stone in the second. Need to lose a lot more fat still, but didnt start until September seriously trying to drop the weight, so doing ok i guess.
Long way to go yet, though will probably never get to the point the other 2 are at.

what are you on about!! this is a great achievement, don't put yourself down, be very proud of what you achieved, you're looking great. and you can play rugby without dying, which is also good. also three stone is more than 40 pounds, you are doing this! keep it up.0

I truly can see a difference - and if you have only been really trying from September, imagine next year's rugby match! You should totally use that for your inspiration - then post us the pic and GLOAT!0

You've lost a lot of gut, and from a heart health point of view, that's really important. Well done!
And you can keep losing weight and getting fitter if you want to. Never say never!0 -
Have you lost your mind? I see a HUGE difference. You have less body fat all over. Not just in your gut, but you can also see a difference in your arms, for example. 3 st is a lot, and even if you didn't lose as quickly as you hoped, it's still a very decent pace and you are less likely to have excess skin and other such annoyances.0

Your belly and face are both a lot smaller! Well done on losing so much weight.0

Don't beat yourself up dude, you look great and I would say you have almost lost enough to put you close to the guy on the other end. Great accomplishment, smaller in all areas. Keep working and next year you will be even more fit.0

I think you did pretty well! From september to december losing 3 stones that's brilliant! You look a lot happier and energetic in the second picture. Keep up the good work, you will get there eventually0

Thanks for all your nice comments, maybe am being hard on myself, but don't like the way I look at the moment. Still feel very fat, and have got a bit stuck in a rut for last few weeks due to other stuff going on in my life, so getting a bit frustrated.0

Wow, I see a big difference! Congratulations!0
