    My questions are:

    1. How old and how tall are you? 30 years old and about 5' tall

    2. How much do you CURRENTLY weigh? 103.2

    3. How many calories are you eating now/were you eating when you lost weight (specify whether this is net or gross)? Right now, I am eating about 2,000 calories a day. When I was losing weight, I was eating at about 1,800.

    4. How many HOURS of exercise do you do per week? 3-4

    5. How active is your daily life (not counting exercise)? It's very active. Apparently, even on rest days I still get about 30 min of vigorous exercise and 2 hours of moderate.

    6. How quickly did you/are you losing (pounds per week/month)? When I was losing, it took me about 2 months to lose 15lbs. The first 7lbs went in a matter of 2 weeks; I'm sure that it was mostly water and waste.

    7. If you're maintaining, how many calories do you eat to maintain (specify whether that is your net or gross intake)? Ever since I started my new position my TDEE has dropped to about 2,000-2,100 a day. So I eat somewhere in the middle.
  • 1. How old and how tall are you? I'm 23 - 5'2

    2. How much do you CURRENTLY weigh? 113 lbs last weigh in

    3. How many calories are you eating now/were you eating when you lost weight (specify whether this is net or gross)? I lost weight eating 1300-1400 cals with no exercise. When I started running, I didn't increase cals during the week, and weekends were free for all. I lost 30 pounds over a 5 month period.

    4. How many HOURS of exercise do you do per week? 5-6 hours total.

    5. How active is your daily life (not counting exercise)? Pretty active - lots of walking and occasional lifting heavy items at work.

    6. How quickly did you/are you losing (pounds per week/month)? Lost ~ 5-6 pounds a month.

    7. If you're maintaining, how many calories do you eat to maintain (specify whether that is your net or gross intake)? Currently eating between 1700 and 2000 depending on the exercise for the day. Average 2300 Saturdays and Sundays. (Long run days)

    My questions are:

    1. How old and how tall are you? 32 & 5'

    2. How much do you CURRENTLY weigh? 154.6

    3. How many calories are you eating now/were you eating when you lost weight (specify whether this is net or gross)? It depends on my TDEE for that day. I use fitbit and a heart rate monitor to get a good number of my actuall TDEE. From there I log my foods on MFP and make sure that my calorie deficit is anywhere between 500-1000 a day to lose 1-2 lbs a week. So my calorie intake will vary depending on how active I was that day. It could be anywhere between 900-1200.

    4. How many HOURS of exercise do you do per week? I'm currently doing turbofire and it varies between 30-60 mins a day. I also occassionally walk a 5k during my lunch hour at work.

    5. How active is your daily life (not counting exercise)? Very sedentary with a desk job. Hence why I try to add a walk during my lunch hour in addition to my scheduled workouts.

    6. How quickly did you/are you losing (pounds per week/month)? Per week I'm losing about 1 lb a week. My weight fluctuates because there have been weeks in between that I've had "events". This is a hard time of year to lose weight but I'm not gaining during the holidays so that's cool.

    7. If you're maintaining, how many calories do you eat to maintain (specify whether that is your net or gross intake)? N/A

I wanted to know why you were asking. The purpose of this. I realize though two people with similar statistics will lose on a different calorie amount than others. What works for me might not work for someone else and vice versa.

I happen to find those differences interesting and I am 100000% aware that different strategies work for different people. Is that a problem for you? You don't have to answer questions that you don't want so I don't really see your point in making that statement--it SEEMS snarky so if that wasn't your intent then my apologies for being a bit defensive.

    1. How old and how tall are you?
    26 (almost 27) - 5 foot nothin'

    2. How much do you CURRENTLY weigh?
    133.5 lbs

    3. How many calories are you eating now/were you eating when you lost weight (specify whether this is net or gross)?
I have MFP set to 1500 and average 1400-1600, however, I use my FitBit gauge to figure out my individual calorie needs and calculate my deficit for me. For me, I lose under 1700, maintain at 1700-2000, and gain with anything above that. I do not eat back exercise calories unless my FitBit tells me to.

    4. How many HOURS of exercise do you do per week?
I don't specifically set aside time to exercise (not yet, anyway, I'm going to start C25K once the snow clears up and doing light weight training on off days). I use my FitBit to track walking/stair steps. If I'm below 10,000 or 25 flights of stairs (or I'm over my calories for the day), I just start pacing the living room while watching tv and/or climbing the stairs during commercial breaks.

    5. How active is your daily life (not counting exercise)?
Fairly active. I have a toddler that occasionally needs to be chased around, plus the FitBit makes me want to move more in general.

    6. How quickly did you/are you losing (pounds per week/month)?
Because of my height and because I'm nearing a healthy weight range, my weight has started coming off much more slowly, at about a pound a week, two on a really good week.

    7. If you're maintaining, how many calories do you eat to maintain (specify whether that is your net or gross intake)?
Like I mentioned above, I maintain at 1700-2000.

    1. How old and how tall are you?

    Age 34, 5'2"

    2. How much do you CURRENTLY weigh?

    100 pounds

    3. How many calories are you eating now/were you eating when you lost weight (specify whether this is net or gross)?

I am now eating gross 1950 to 2200 calories a day (sometimes more). I was not trying to lose weight, but I did lose weight at a very slow rate when I was eating 1800 calories.

    4. How many HOURS of exercise do you do per week?

Hmmm, difficult to separate daily activity from exercise, so I will say I exercise around 4 hours a week (lifting weights and doing yoga).

    5. How active is your daily life (not counting exercise)?

Very active. I walk everywhere (so at least an hour a day). I am a dancer, so I also dance many hours a week (I did not include that in exercise above), I have two children. I am very active.

    6. How quickly did you/are you losing (pounds per week/month)?

Don't want to lose. I did lose 4 pounds in 4 months.

    7. If you're maintaining, how many calories do you eat to maintain (specify whether that is your net or gross intake)?

I'm still figuring this out, and if I notice weight loss I increase my calories. I try not to eat less than 1950 and I tend to try and stay under 2300 for now. I would say I average around 2000. This is gross. I only think in terms of gross, not net.

    My questions are:

    1. How old and how tall are you? 32, I'll be 33 in 3 mths. I'm just shy of 5'2.

    2. How much do you CURRENTLY weigh? 112, 14% BF

    3. How many calories are you eating now/were you eating when you lost weight (specify whether this is net or gross)?
For the first 3-4 mths I did the 1200 and ate back most of my exercise cals; so 1200 net. I stalled for about 6 weeks when I started lifting more and running more so then I did the TDEE with a cut so about 1700. Lost the last few pounds within 3 weeks.
Now maintaining since June scale weight wise but BF dropped.

    4. How many HOURS of exercise do you do per week? 5-7 varying. 3 hours of heavy lifting, the rest is running or cross fit type stuff.
I love working out and my husband and I routinely lift, box etc together. This lifestyle is very easy for us to maintain.

    5. How active is your daily life (not counting exercise)? Pretty active, I'm a nurse and I run pretty much at work for 13 hrs straight with little rest.

    6. How quickly did you/are you losing (pounds per week/month)? I lost 20lbs in 6 mths

    7. If you're maintaining, how many calories do you eat to maintain (specify whether that is your net or gross intake)?
Gross 2000-2200, no net stuff with TDEE. I also cycle cals and carbs. Like I said, maintaining since June.

  • 1. How old and how tall are you? 27 and 5'2"

    2. How much do you CURRENTLY weigh? As of last Monday around 142

    3. How many calories are you eating now/were you eating when you lost weight (specify whether this is net or gross)? I eat around 2000 calories a day gross, net around 1500 (not counting exercise calories, I use the IPOARM method). I'm breastfeeding a baby so I subtract 500 calories a day for that.

    4. How many HOURS of exercise do you do per week? I do a 30 minute video around 4-5 times a week on average.

    5. How active is your daily life (not counting exercise)? Pretty active. I stay at home with 3 kids, 3 and under. I'm constantly up and moving around after them, and my youngest is always wanting to be held and carried so I've got an extra 15 pounds in tow most of the day :)

    6. How quickly did you/are you losing (pounds per week/month)? I'm averaging 1.5-2 pounds a week. I started at 170 in early September and have lost almost 30 pounds, fairly steadily, since then. I'm within about 10 pounds of my pre-kid weight (I didn't really lose baby weight between my pregnancies) now.

    1. Age - 41 - 5'1"

    2. Current weight 145

    3. I'm on a "base" calorie of 1200, but usually eat more due to my workouts

    4. Workout hours per week: between 6-7 hours per week. I'm just coming off a 6 week struggle of plateauing, my trainer looked through my food journals and workouts and insisted I cut back on my workouts because I was over-training. I started doing that within the last week and had a great weight loss the following week. I've cut my cardio days from 45-60 minutes to just 30

    5. How active is my daily life: As a stay at home mom to a 3.5 year old and a 2 year old, I'm very active all day

    6. On average I lose about a 1lb a week, sometimes more sometimes less. Now that I have 10lbs to my goal, the weight is coming off much slower.
