Question for the ladies-thin forearms, anyone?

I've settled into a weight I am very comfortable with. I'm 5'3" and my weight varies from 127-130. Pretty much the middle of the BMI scale for me. Here's my issue-my wrists and forearms look a little too thin. Granted, this has always been the smallest part of my body but now I look more out of proportion. Anyone else have this issue? I'm trying to add in more weights and a variety of workouts, included ballet, yoga, and Pilates.
Thanks for any input or suggestions!

    Work on your grip to help with the forearms, I've found heavy deadlifts very good for this. When I went heavier, my grip was hopeless at first, but it gets better with time. I don't do any isolating grip work but my forearms have gotten a little bigger and look more in proportion now.

    My wrists however are still tiny. It must be incredibly hard to make them bigger? I don't know, I've never tried.
  • I have the same problem! My 7 year old son has wrists that are almost as big as mine. I was told before to squeeze a tennis ball to help but it doesn't really make them any bigger.

    Do things that challenge your grip, like lunges with dumbbells rather than a barbell, farmer walks, cable exercises.
    Your wrists really have little muscles around them so you can grow there but you can grow the muscle near your elbow.

    Farmer's carry. Do something light to start with, like 5 gallon water jugs.

    she could definitely use some bulking. perhaps an upgrade to pink dumbbells
