Check it out.
It is a 1973 Super Beetle.
The guy was asking $900.00 and I talked him down to $500.00 AND, as a bonus, it actually runs pretty good.

Wow...poor fella must have needed some Xmas money. Way to go man...bahaha. C'mon you could have given him $900 and still got a helluva a deal. Poor guy will be out on the street for New Year's Eve...no car and no home.

Don't mind me...I'm hating. Been looking for a deal like that on a Beetle for a few.

Oh man I remember those cars. My best friend in high school taught me to drive a stick shift in a '71 super beetle!

A little bit of both. I need to address some rust issues.
The drivers side floor is starting to get thin so, I will need to put a new one in but, as long as I have the seat out, I might as well take the rest of the interior out and paint it.
There are a few other spots of rust that need to be addressed and, as long as I am sanding and grinding and I need to paint it ANYWAY, I might as well do it right.
This will not be a car show winner by any means but, I am hoping to have it showroom nice by this summer.

Awesome deal man, my first car was a '69 Bug. I loved that car. Been looking to find a deal on one to tinker with.

    He should buy another one.
I am about to purchase a second one for parts.
It is on Craigslist and he is asking $475.00 but it has been posted for at least a month.
Heck, if the hood and fenders are in good shape, it is worth it.

    That's awesome!

My friend's mom had one in the 80's. I used to love it.

well, he already has a project car in the garage- it's a '68 Camaro. we only have a 1 car garage- so my PT Cruiser and our Kinko's van (it's an old Kinko's delivery van) sit out in the cold and ice & snow...
