How about a 5 mile run, a cold shower and a Foo Fighters Medley blasting out.
That should get you on the right track for the rest of the day. :bigsmile:0 -
that would be great but i don't think that would go down well in the office. lol
But thanks0 -
try orange juice, it helps give me a burst of energy when i need it, usually have a glass after going for one of my walks/runs0

You think you're tired?! lol j/k
I decided that last night was the time to take away Taylor's pacifier...oh man she SCREAMED for 45 minutes b4 bed, which is exhausting for me..lol and then got up at 3:00am and SCREAMED for another hour, all the while I'm trying to comfort her and she's just all tears and sweaty...ugh awful thing to have to go through.
LOL ANYWAYS, I am sorry you're so tired too Hopefully I'll take a nap for you today lol0 -
I can't stay up late anymore either Al......not like in my 20s! LOL! If I go out with friends and drink even a little and stay out late, it takes me a few days to recover. Add my little toddler to the mix and getting some extra sleep isn't even in the cards! So, I tend to do that once in a blue moon these days. Sigh!
But, I am a big believer in coffee. LUV LUV LUV my morning cup.
Also, something that gives me a lot of energy is water. Keep a bottle with you and keep chugging it. Staying hydrated has an amazing ability of helping me feel more awake and alert.
If that doesn't work...let me know and I can do what I do to Sarge a lot......a jab in the eye!!

Awwww, never easy! At least you have something to take away. My son is a thumb sucker. Ever see the Peanuts cartoons? My son IS Linus!! He walks around with his thumb in his mouth and his blanket in his arm.
I LOVE Peanuts. And my favorite line EVER is when Lucy is pestering Linus about his blanket...and says to him "What are you going to do when you get too old to drag it around?" And he replies with "Who knows? I've been thinking seriously of having it made over into a sport coat". :laugh:0 -

omg sounds like me as a kid. I have a vague memory of my mother painting something on my thumb nails that tasted aweful... i cried, i think she then felt bad and tried to wash it off lol0 -
Anyone ever heard of the "wake up on time pil"? It is "natural"..this is what the add reads,
"If you struggle to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to go, you’re not alone. Morning grogginess affects everything from work and school performance to spousal relations and even driving ability. Fortunately, a unique and ingenious solution has come to light in the media: it’s a pill you take before bedtime that makes it easier to wake up in the morning.
Wake Up On Time was developed by Cathy Beggan, a business owner, single mother of three and long-time advocate of natural remedies. After forgetting to take her special blend of vitamins and herbs with her on a vacation, she noticed that waking up “became more difficult and made me feel miserable.” Suddenly she understood what other parents and friends meant when they complained of not being “morning people,” and set about finding a natural and effective solution. “Why didn’t someone think of this before?”"
I am always tired in the morning--even when I go to sleep early. Has anyone tried this?-Maribel0 -

My mom used stuff called Apple Bitter to keep me from biteing my nails. She also tried this on my little sister Brittany to get her to stop sucking her thumb , she was 7 for god sakes lol. Didn't work she kept on sucking til the nasty was gone and went on her merry way. Took 80 bucks to break brittany of her thumb and blankie habit. That 80 bucks bought a new bike , lol.0 -
