weird theoretical dating question...
So this guy I had the worst crush on back-in-the-day (he never knew it) and I talk a little here & there on Facebook. He's married now and I have the utmost respect for that fact so it's never flirty AT ALL, just friendly. Anyway he mentioned he can't have kids because of surgery he had in the past and so they're going to have to pursue other means if they decide to expand their family. In my head I'm thinking '****!!! How perfect can a guy get?! Call me if y'all don't work out!' But in all honesty I want them to work out and I would never do anything to undermine someone's marriage. But it got me thinking, if a girl is only interested in dating sterile men, how does she go about that? Start a dating profile somewhere and specify sterility as a prerequisite? Hmmmm....some 3 billion people on this planet, somehow I think the sterile dating pool must be awfully small.

Bribe a doctor who performs vasectomies.

Not true. There are lots and lots of men and women who have chosen not to have children. If you are so sure, you can have the surgery yourself, ya know? Then it's a done deal.
I made the decision not to procreate when I was about 13 years old. I never changed my mind, and it is now no longer an option for me. I'm good with that.0 -
Wouldn't it be easier just to find someone who doesn't want to have kids?0

This is a joke right? Use a condom for petes sake. Just because he's sterile doesn't mean he's free of STD's.0 -
So...this may be a stupid question, and I feel like I may be missing something...but if you want a sterile man why don't you just make YOURSELF sterile and date regular guys who don't mind not having kids instead? I mean, if no kids is the objective here, you can get that done yourself, no sweat. But again, I don't know your reasoning, so I may be off.0

hmmm... maybe carry some Uranium-238 or perhaps Polonium-210 in her pocket on dates.
PS... just kidding of course. in her pocket would be silly! she'll want to carry these in a shielded purse that protects herself from radioactive exposure, while ensuring her companion gets dosed in his nasty bits.0 -

I know a few and the thought has crossed my mind, but I suspect most men seeking a vas are probably married. That, and there's that pesky HIPAA all in the way and ****, lol.0 -

WHOA SLOW YOUR ROLL THERE, srsly, who said anything about reckless, random ****ing?? My ultimate goal is to get married but due to clotting issues B/C & surgery are a bit risky for me. It seems like if my SO was already sterile it would eliminate a lot of life altering decision making, hemming & hawing, and possible mind-changing, ie STRESS could be avoided from the start...just my thought.0 -
Try online dating?
Just make it very clear that you do not want kids EVer. I'm sure you'll get quite a few responses from men that are sterile.0
