When I started this journey about a year ago, I was proud to run 3 miles. Then I amazed myself by running 5 miles "Holy cow, five whole miles, without dying!" I thought to myself.
At the end of October I ran and completed the Cape Cod Marathon with a finishing time of a little over 4 hours.
BOOOYAH!

Here's the funny part though: for the past 2 months I have been eating like I am training for a marathon, but not training like I am training for a marathon. Oooops! :) So, back here I come, figuring out how best to eat while I train again and how best to eat when I am not in full tilt mode. Maybe one day I shall be able to due it without having to keep track, but for now I have MFP! :)
