    I'm 42 years old, 5'4" and 213 lbs.

    Goal is to be down to 199 by V-day.

    Small goal, I know, but its only 10lbs from my total goal! :)

    i think thats a great goal. weight comes off much slower when we get closer to our goals. good luck!

    My current weight is 154 (up a bit from the holiday eating :()
    I'll have to take my measurements tomorrow morning.
    My goal is to be 149 by Valentine's Day. Only 5 lbs, I know, but I'm also doing Body Revolution, and I've read a lot more inches are lost than lbs.

    i'd much rather lose inches than lbs anyways! good luck! i'd love to know how that program works for ya!

    soundsgreat to me i have lost 40 lbs since May, had breast reduction a few weeks ago and then Christmas eating.....boy did i loose control...so back to drawing board,,,,Valentine sounds great. i want to loose the Christmas weight and have a total of 14 lbs off, that's two lbs a week,,,hopefully i can do that,,,,,

    We have so many lovely people in our challange so far! I wonder how much our total weight loss will be by the end of it?!?

    Someone mentioned checking in weekly and I know that I definitely will be doing that....feel free to post as often as you want in here. i will try to check in daily and make sure to say a personal hello to all of you who are posting.

    What are your plans to help you reach your goals? i'm interested to hear what some of you are doing...I'll start I guess...

    I'm just monitoring my calorie intake and exercising. i've always been active and tried to be healthy but my body hate me and has a lot of issues that make it difficult sometimes. i got to my lowest (adult) weight of 138 back in November of last year and then ended up with a bad medical condition that makes it so that i cannot eat a lot. i would be starving on some days and binging on others when i could actually eat and ended up putting on 22lbs. I got up to 160, that is not very pretty on a 5'2" frame. i'm trying to control my condition and lower my weight back into a healthier range for my height. if you add me, you will see that i do not generally eat over 1000 calories. this is part of my medical condition and issues that it causes so please be mindful of that when posting. we all have our own struggles and places we come from and i want this thread to be welcoming and supportive.

    now it's your turn...what's your plan to get to your goals?

    wow! congrats on your loss so far! my goal is 14lbs also and i bet we can do it if we put our minds to it!

    i need this, only 4 lbs lost for the first 30 days on this mfp, ( at least not a xmas gain like i usually own up to)
    weight 206, would be happy to lose 10 before v day, but realistically i think it will only be 6.
    i will keep plugging away at this though

    VGW: 246 (just a 10 lb loss, hopefully)
    UGW: I don't know ... around 150-ish I think. I'm only worrying about this in 5-10 lb increments. :-D
