Who has tried Shakeology & what do you think of the product? What were your results? I'm not looking for a Beachbody Coach -- I simply want a review of the product.

  • I'm trying it out for the first time this month. At first I was kind of shocked at the taste because you hear all these beachbody coaches saying that it's the best thing you'll ever taste. I honestly wasn't stoked on the taste the first few days but it has grown on my quite a bit. I like it because I have trouble cooking and coming up with meals so it's one less meal I have to worry about every day. I usually mix with another scoop of whey powder, a banana, and 1/2 serving of all natural peanut butter. It is pretty damn good now that I'm used to the taste. (I should also not that the first few days I drank it, I went water, whey, and shakeology only. I still stick to water instead of milk. It comes out to about 530 calories the way i drink it now. I usually replace lunch or dinner with it as I breakfast is the only meal I enjoy cooking an eating.

I don't fell like there is a HUGE difference in the way I feel because of drinking it. Maybe I have a little more energy but I can't tell if that's just because I'm getting in better shape. The price is pretty steep but I love the fact that it has a TON of good nutrients and vitamins. For me since I don't like cooking and constantly have trouble coming up with meal ideas it makes eating easy for me for 1 meal everyday and that's worth the money for me. It also probably has a more complete blend of everything I need in a meal.

If you're expecting to feel much different I think you'll be disappointed. It's not crack or anything :). But with that being said I am going to continue on with it atleast throughout my first round of P90X. If I find more meals that I feel I can cook and compete with the nutrition I may stop but it's just really convenient especially on the run.
