Hi! Another newbie here from Georgia

Hi! I've been seriously working on my weight and exercising since March 1st. I just found this site and am learning how to use all the features. I have been using several different Walk-away-the-pounds DVD's as my exercise routine and following a balanced low calorie/carb diet as prescribed by my dietician. I have been stay-at-home for several months but will be returning to work next week and am worried I won't be able to fit in as much exercise and keep up the healthy eating.

Just plan ahead, bring your snack and meals and make exercise appointments. You CAN do it!0

Hi, you're definitely starting off with a good plan and great tools. I also enjoy the WATP videos. When you return to work, could you do a shorter walk in the evening (preferably before dinner)?0

Thanks Sylvia, Yes I think that would be a good idea. I don't want to get back in the habit of fast food. I know that just doesn't work.0

And I hope to be able to walk some at lunch. I actually have a freind there so maybe I can get her walking too. If I am smart I'll get up when my husband does (he leaves real early) and do 1 or 2 miles before work. We'll see! lol0

I'm in the Gainesville area so not too awful far away. We sometimes ride motorcycles thru their in the summer and fall. Beautiful area you live in.0

Yeah, I love the area. I've lived here all my life! One of my friends lives in Gainesville. Also, I took a class at Gainesville State while I was going to NGCSU. But now I'm going to Young Harris College. Small world sometimes! Anyway, nice to meet you and good luck reaching your goals!!0
