    I have always been the girl that will take shots and drink drinks and not worry about the calories or anything.. but I have made myself so aware of how many calories I was drinking... going to the bar to watch UFC tonight and I am going to limit myself to 2 drinks and want to stay on the lower cal end of things... I love wine, but to make it more like a drink thought a wine spritzer would be best... but I never see anyone ordering wine spritzers at a bar LOL. or any other suggestions?

    Who cares. If you want a wine spritzer order a wine spritzer. What does it matter what everyone else does or doesn't do?

    If you want a wine spritzer, then order one!!!

    If I'm going out and watching cals, I usually have vodka/seltzers with lemon. I can only drink a few before I get nice and buzzed so I don't drink as much. Also, if you switch to just seltzer at any point, not many people would notice.

    most all my bars dont either...only the restraunt bars....and im in a BAR TOWN...theres like 50 lol

    I say order it and enjoy it. We all like some things that others might consider tacky. Eff what other people think of you.

    (That being said, when I waited tables we made fun of people who ordered wine spritzers or white zinfandel. Both have kind of a trashy rep in the restaurants where I worked. But again, it doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks of your drink. Order it.)

    Bahahahaha. My husband order's feminine drinks and does not give a damn. :laugh: I will order a hopsy man beer to balance things out.

    What I do is probably actually tacky

    Ill order a nice dry Riesling and a soda water, drink half the wine as is, then dump the soda water in until the wine is full again.

    It's actually really nice. And a good way to save $

    I love wine spritzers. It's what my Grandma always drank....I don't think it's tacky at all. Although that's coming from someone who has drank wine out of a yahtzee shaker so don't take my word on it.

    hahaha a yahtzee shaker. Best thing ive heard alllllll week.
