If staying within the U.S., I'd say: Florida, Virginia, Maryland, or either of the Carolinas. (mostly places along the East Coast :-p)

If headed out of the U.S.: Canada, England, or Ireland.

After having lived in a few places in the US and abroad, I'm right where I would like to be the most. My home state of Florida.

I don't want to live anywhere. Idealistically I'd want to be a nomad. Staying in one place feels too safe and scary and wrong to me.

I've been _almost_ everywhere in the world apart from southern South America, and the two poles. I've even been to Novaya Zemlya, where most people haven't been.

Kerala in India can be marvellous. Croatia when it's nice is like Italy, with the lovely light, but without the Italians. Oz is wonderful, but is filled with biting, dangerous bugs like nowhere else.

I've lived mostly in Atlanta since 1996 and aside from the weather, which occasionally frightens me, it is the most wonderful place on Earth. I'd never want to live anywhere else.

In the States.....somewhere on the East Coast.... North Carolina maybe.

Been a Minnesota girl most of my life................I love it here. I love the 4 seasons, the beautiful lakes (especially Lake Superior, which I can see out of my office window every day!) We don't have a lot of icky bugs, snakes, creepy things...........ya, it's cold. Ya, we have snow and blizzards.........but we also have warm summers and beautiful Autumns. Yup, I like where I live (except for our sports teams, which tend to suck ;)
