For real this time...

Hey everyone, I have been 'dieting' for pretty much my entire life. I think I have tried every diet out there at least once, and most like the low carb diets multiple times. Some have worked, others have failed and most have put the weight back on plus several pounds. I seemed to always think there was a quick fix and I wouldn't have to really give up anything or change any of my eating habits and I would still loose weight. I never held myself accountable for my actions.

So I am going to try one last time...but the right way this time, with a healthy diet and lots of exercise. I would love to connect with some new friends and help keep each other motivated!

    set SMALL goals...they add up quick
  • you will be able with app/site, I have before and now I am back to do it again ( had a couple sport injuries ) and gained some weight back. when I first came to mfp I weighed 220ish and after a while I got down to 200 my goal weight and then I stopped using mfp and was able to keep the weight off for some time on my own, you gain a lot of knowledge from this app/site about food so that helps a lot I think. you can do it .... good luck and add me if you like

    hi! i've been off here for about 3 months or less. but am back now ready to start again as soon as this exercise dvd arrives!

    Hi! Welcome to MFP and I'm glad that you are here!! Eating better and changing your lifestyle is really the only sure fire way to lose the weight and keep it off. I've been on MFP for just a little over a year, and on my journey to a better me for two years. I came over from another site and am glad that I did.

    I will send you a request and I hope that we could encourage each other and I'll do my best to help you achieve your goals! You can do it!
